Parent Faculty Association

  • Parent Faculty Organization

Much research exists about the importance of parent involvement in education. The research overwhelmingly indicates that parent involvement not only positively affects student achievement and development, it contributes to higher quality education and better performance of schools overall.

This school year, The Children’s Learning Center is embarking on an active campaign to involve each student’s family. Our goal is to develop a strong Parent Faculty Association for our students. We are going to be doing outreach to recruit volunteers to be class mothers/fathers. We will be asking family members to volunteer to play an active role in their child’s classroom and at special events.

What are you interested in doing? How would you be interested in helping? There is so much to do... you can pick your area of interest. Fundraising? Baking? Decorating? Building? Legislative advocacy? Just let us know.

It takes a village to educate a child. Please help strengthen the village at CLC.

Education is like a baseball game,

it needs all its players: parent, teacher, community, and student.
